Biographies
Josh is originally from Cleveland, Ohio
and grew up in Southport, NC for the majority of his life. Josh went to
South Brunswick High School and later went on to the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he graduated with his Bachelor's
degree in Biology. Josh taught at Riverside High School in Durham, NC for a semester while finishing his degree and then taught a year at Southern Wake Academy, a charter high school in Holly Springs, NC.
Josh has worked with student ministries for several years. During high school and college Josh worked as a member of the Caswell Staff at Fort Caswell, NC in which he worked with both elementary and middle school students. He then worked as a member of the BeDoTell Team, also at Caswell, where he worked with middle school and high school students teaching Bible studies and leading track times. Furthermore, Josh has been a part of the Summit Church's student ministry for years and has also worked as an intern with Summit. Josh served as the the student pastor of the North Raleigh Campus of The Summit Church before taking his current position as an Associate Campus Minister at the Baptist Campus Ministries at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Ashley is from Lenoir, North Carolina and attended South Caldwell High School. Ashley is currently a student at Caldwell Community College where she is studying the fine arts and performance with a focus in music. Ashley plans to further her studies in music after school with the hopes of using the talents God has given her to share God's love with others through music.
Ashley has been working with student ministries for several years. After high school, Ashley traveled with Vivid Worship and Matt Stockman throughout North Carolina leading worship for students. Ashley then went on to become a member of the BeDoTell Team at Fort Caswell as a member of the band for three summers. While at Caswell, Ashley worked with middle school and high school students teaching Bible studies and leading track times. Throughout the year Ashley travels and leads various youth rallies and ministries throughout North Carolina and neighboring states.
God has called Ashley into the music ministry within the church and traveling for various events. Ashley desires to portray God's word through song in a way that provides an atmosphere of worship.
